Whenever we are trying to make a change or start a new habit/routine, we can get down on ourselves for not doing it to the extent we had originally intended. This negative thinking can cause us to pull away from the new habit/routine we are trying to create. Instead of thinking negatively, utilize the phrases “Don’t let best get in the way of better” and “Progress over perfection”.
